Weathering a Crisis: A Multi-Level Analysis of Resilience in Young Ventures

In the context of external disruption presented by COVID-19 pandemic, we investigate (1) how individual-level resilience and inter-functional coordination relate to organizational (2) link between firm performance. We view as a resource-based capability draw on insights regarding psychological capital relational resources inform our hypotheses. Our hypotheses are tested with time-lagged, multi-level study young technology ventures. The results show that when such firms resilient, they tend perform significantly better in crisis. Further, is positively influenced individual top management team members, well coordination. discuss implications for theory practice suggest avenues research entrepreneurship.
